# usedby

> usedby lists which companies use which AI tools. Each line links a company to a tool and to a public page that shows them together: a vendor customer page, a case study, a press release or a job post. Counts are of the companies on usedby, not market shares, and a date is the first public proof found, not an adoption date.

Today: 13,757 public lines across 8,159 companies, on 474 AI tools with public customers (473 of them with a confirmed or observed one), of 484 tracked tools. Every proof level is a customer and counts in every total and ranking, and each line shows its level, strongest first: 4,826 confirmed (a case study, a named quote or a press release), 8,601 observed (the vendor shows the company on its own pages), 330 signals (a job post shows the company's employees use the tool: the weakest proof). Companies that a vendor stops showing are hidden, never published as departures. Proof is never for sale: no one can pay for a line, a proof level or a rank. Latest check of a public line: 2026-10-19 (13,132 of 13,757 lines have a dated check).

Markdown twins: the main pages (tool, company, industry, category, compare, alternatives, case study, methodology, changes) have a plain Markdown version in English. Add `.md` to the page path, for example https://www.usedby.ai/tools/harvey.md. Twins carry the same counts and rules as the HTML page, which stays the canonical URL.
